Eye Exams-How Different from one tester to another?

Will the prescription numbers vary from one to another tester taken on the SAME day? Is it considered an exact science or what?

i'd guess that its very in-exact...test results could probably vary quite a bit.....

Even in THIS computer age; I kinda doubt it.
But 2 things strike me as strange.
We all know about the eye exams where you are asked " 1 or 2".
But-secondly, I didn't know it took 2 weeks to get glasses. I feel like a dinasour.


God forbid I was next to BLIND!
